Over the course of his professional career, Mr. Marcus Asay has pursued a number of business endeavors. Most recently, Marcus Asay has taken the role of Managing Director of Bakersfield's ACS Association. Having held the position since 2005, Marcus Asay efficiently manages numerous aspects of operations, labor relations, human resources, and finance. Another of his most recent business pursuits is his leading role with IE/Cal Design & Development Center. As Principal of Planning and Development, Marcus Asay plays a key role in seeing projects from concept to completion. At present, Marcus Asay manages the firm's most current design proposal: a National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C. The firm, which offers both specialized services and services with an industry focus, has greatly benefitted from Marcus Asay's keen business skills over the four years he has been with the firm.
Marcus Asay attended Thunderbird, The American Graduate School of International Management. Having studied Business and Finance, Marcus Asay graduated with his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 1982. In addition to his MBA, Marcus Asay holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Public Administration from the University of California, Sacramento. Outside of his business pursuits, Marcus Asay maintains involvement with several charitable organizations. In addition to volunteering as an Administrator for the Group Homes Certification Program, Marcus Asay contributes monetarily to organizations such as the Farmworkers Enterprise Foundation and Acere Homes, Inc. In his leisure time, Marcus Asay enjoys reading about economic development. Marcus Asay currently lives in Delano, California. |
